This policy explains how personal data is handled through our website and related enquiries under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information we collect

When you contact us by email or telephone, we may receive your name, contact details, company information and any information you provide in your enquiry.

Website hosting and technical services may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and access times. Our website also processes language preferences, consent choices and website usage information as described below.

Our website does not provide a contact form, public comments, visitor accounts or file uploads.

Why we process information

We process relevant information to:

• Deliver, maintain and protect the website.

Website statistics

We use Jetpack Stats, provided through Automattic’s services, to understand website visits and usage.

Jetpack may process IP address, browser information, visited and referring URLs, event timestamps, browser language, country information and WordPress.com account identifiers where available. Statistics requests can involve personal data even when no analytics cookie is stored.

Jetpack statistics are configured to wait until you allow the Analytics category. You can change your choice through the website’s cookie settings.

Automattic states that underlying Stats logs containing visitor IP addresses and available WordPress.com usernames are retained for 28 days. This period does not describe the retention of all aggregated statistical reports.

Cookie preferences and consent records

We use Kansleri Cookie Consent to remember and apply your cookie choices.

The consent-preference cookie remembers your choices for up to one year. Additional consent-state cookies communicate those choices to compatible WordPress tools.

We also keep individual consent records containing the date and time, a coded visitor identifier, your choice, accepted categories and policy version. The identifier is generated using IP address and browser information. The consent log stores the coded identifier rather than the readable IP address.

Consent records are stored in our website’s database and scheduled for automatic deletion after 13 months. We also maintain aggregated counts of acceptance, rejection and customized responses.

Service providers and disclosure

We use Bluehost for website hosting and Bluehost and Google services in connection with company email. Relevant information is processed through these services to deliver the website and handle correspondence.

Jetpack Stats sends usage information to Automattic infrastructure. Kansleri’s consent records are stored within our WordPress database on our hosting infrastructure.

Information may be accessed by authorized personnel and service providers where necessary for their functions. Relevant information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or competent authorities where legally justified.

Our Fira Sans and Montserrat font files are hosted locally on the website.

International processing

Our service providers may process information outside Türkiye and, where relevant, outside the European Economic Area.

International transfers are subject to the applicable requirements of KVKK Article 9 and GDPR Chapter V where applicable. Cookie consent does not, by itself, establish every safeguard required for ongoing international transfers.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose of processing, the relevant business relationship, applicable legal recordkeeping requirements and any need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

General enquiries, contractual correspondence, technical logs, statistics and consent records may therefore have different retention periods. When no lawful reason for retention remains, personal data must be deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements.

The specific Jetpack log and Kansleri consent-record periods are explained above. Cookie expiry periods appear in the declaration below and are separate from the retention of email correspondence and other records.

Your rights

Under KVKK, subject to applicable conditions, you may:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it.
• Learn the purposes of processing and whether your information is used consistently with those purposes.
• Learn the third parties to whom your information is transferred in Türkiye or abroad.
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate information.
• Request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met.
• Request notification of relevant correction or deletion actions to recipients.
• Object to an adverse result arising exclusively from automated analysis.
• Seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Where GDPR applies, you may also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, depending on the circumstances.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
